I have always had a passion for animals which led me to study and graduate with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing from Massey University. I travelled overseas to work in Australian vet clinics which was the best nursing experience I've ever had.
I returned to New Zealand in 2003 and worked in the area of livestock breeding which I thoroughly enjoyed. As well as my passion for animals, I also love speech & drama. I took a break from my animal career and started my private speech and drama studio, Creative Drama and Speech.
I moved to Hawkes Bay in 2009 with my husband and five children, where I lectured Vet Nursing at the local polytechnic for a few years. I have since continued to teach speech and drama privately.
I came across Ocicats and Abyssinians through Jody Robinson-Wildey from Abyrose Abyssinians and immediately fell in love with both of these breeds. A big thank you to my mentor Jody from Abyrose Abyssinians for her patience, expertise knowledge, and kindness.
I feel honoured to be able to breed these beautiful cats in my family home and share my passion with others.
